Welcome back to the ‘Dataset of the Week’ blog series, where we bring you a mega compilation of free, available datasets on trending topics. The topic we chose for this week is global inflation.

Global Inflation Dataset

While the world was under the scrutiny of the pandemic in 2020, global inflation fell sharply, which felt like a silver lining. But by the time we reached the middle of the pandemic, global inflation rates had skyrocketed to the highest since the early 1990s. Though there were comparatively some relaxations in global inflation, the averages remained higher than they were before there was a pandemic.

The process of researching and looking for relevant datasets for the topic is rather exhausting and a long one.
