Credit Consumption Basics
An API credit at NewsData.io gets consumed each time a request is made to the API. The number of credits consumed does not depend on the type of request made and the data returned.
1 API Request = 1 API Credit
Special Case: Archive Endpoint
For the Archive endpoint, 5 API credits will be consumed for every API request.
Historical data requests require higher resource intensity.
Tracking & Monitoring Usage
You can track the API credit limit and monitor the usage of the API at your NewsData.io account.
