      • "content": "( MENAFN - EIN Presswire) In an age of civic uncertainty, \"Embrace Your Freedom\" is more than a guide to college: it's a call to prepare students for the responsibilities of adulthood, democracy, and meaningful lives. As commencement speeches echo across the country, former Skidmore president urges students & their families to embrace the deeper purpose of a college education SARATOGA SPRINGS , NY, UNITED STATES, May 8, 2025 /EINPresswire / -- As another class of high school and college graduates steps across the stage this spring, the question looms larger than ever: What kind of future are they inheriting-and have we prepared them for it? In an era marked by polarization, campus unrest and an erosion of trust in democracy, today's young adults are stepping into a world marked less by promise than by uncertainty. And yet, says Dr. Philip Glotzbach,“We still treat commencement as a celebration of personal success. But we are falling short if we fail to equip students for the moral and civic challenges ahead.”“Higher education must do more than just transmit knowledge or prepare students for jobs,” he says.“It must help them develop the intellectual courage, ethical clarity, and historical understanding to act responsibly as citizens in a democratic society. They really are deciding what kind of adults they want to be and what sort of world they want to live in.” This belief-shaped by decades of service in higher education leadership-forms the foundation of Embrace Your Freedom, Glotzbach's recent book, which offers a personal, practical guide to the transition from adolescence to adulthood through the college journey. Released last summer, the book has quietly gained traction among parents, educators, and students looking for deeper meaning in the college experience. Reviews have recognized the book's timely and earnest message: “Embrace Your Freedom is more than just a guidebook-it's a heartfelt and deeply practical manual for launching young adults into the world,” wrote the LA Book Review.“What elevates this book beyond standard college prep fare is its emphasis on lifelong learning, civic engagement, and personal integrity.” Noting its relevance in the age of AI and disinformation, Kirkus highlighted Glotzbach's warnings about the consequences of academic dishonesty and the need to“broaden students' horizons” by taking good risks. The Midwest Book Review echoed this, calling it“exceptionally informative and thoroughly reader friendly,” and“unreservedly recommended” for family, high school, and college library collections. With chapters on mission, meaning, failure, and citizenship, the book urges students to make a“lifelong commitment to becoming an informed, responsible, and caring citizen.” This message, says Glotzbach, is more urgent now than when he first sat down to write the book. Glotzbach's recent work includes an op-ed for The Fulcrum as well as multiple articles for Grown & Flown, where he is a regular contributor on the intersection of parenting, education, and civic responsibility. Upcoming author events include a June 8 appearance at Barnes & Noble in Burlington, Vermont , and an August 9 talk hosted by Notre Dame University's Northeast New York alumni chapter in Albany. He has also been featured on WAMC Northeast Public Radio's The Roundtable and other national podcasts. In a graduation season shaped by polarization, protest and profound questions, Glotzbach's voice is a calm, principled call to widen our lens-and our responsibility. About the Author Dr. Philip A. Glotzbach served as the seventh president of Skidmore College from 2003 to 2020 and is a lifelong advocate for liberal arts education as a foundation for democratic citizenship. A philosopher by training, he is known for his thoughtful, student-centered leadership and for championing intellectual courage, ethical reflection, and civic engagement across the undergraduate experience. He contributes regularly to Grown & Flown and has written on civic renewal for The Albany Times-Union and The Fulcrum. His recent book, \"Embrace Your Freedom: Winning Strategies to Succeed in College and in Life\" is available through major booksellers. Learn more at PhilipGlotzbach Sarah Wilson PoP! NOK 10 million were paid in cash by Kristian, and NOK 15 million were financed through a loan from the Company. The share program was settled in 2024 with a total loss for Kristian of NOK 23.8 million. As part of the settlement, the shares were transferred back to the Company. The Company retained the NOK 10 million in cash contribution, while the portion of the loan not covered by the proceeds from the sale of the shares upon settlement was cancelled in accordance with the agreement. The amount of the loan cancellation in favor of Kristian was NOK 13.8 million, reducing his loss on the investment correspondingly. The debt cancellation mechanism was part of the original terms for the share program. Kristian today paid NOK 13.8 million to the Company and gave the following comment: \"I recognize the concerns raised by stakeholders and have listened. To reinforce alignment, I have chosen to repay the loan amount that was otherwise cancelled under the agreed terms.\" Contacts For further information, please contact: Jonas Gamre, Investor Relations, tel: +47 97 11 82 92, email: [email protected] Mats Ektvedt, Media, tel: +47 41 42 33 28, email: [email protected] This information was brought to you by Cision ,c4147916 SOURCE Aker Horizons WANT YOUR COMPANY'S NEWS FEATURED ON PRNEWSWIRE?440k+ Newsrooms & Influencers9k+ Digital Media Outlets270k+ Journalists Opted InGET STARTED MENAFN09052025003732001241ID1109527087 Legal Disclaimer: MENAFN provides the information “as is” without warranty of any kind. • "content": "( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) FIRST-QUARTER RESULTS In the first quarter, MT Højgaard Holding consolidated its positive developments, reduced the loss from the winding up of the international activities and ensured progress for its strategic focus areas. Revenue increased by 14% to DKK 2,625 million, driven by a higher level of activity and faster progress on several projects. MT Højgaard Danmark and Enemærke & Petersen both recorded double-digit growth, which was particularly strong in the focus areas of civil engineering and infrastructure as well as partnership projects. Operating profit (EBIT) rose by 5% to DKK 99 million. MT Højgaard Danmark increased its earnings on the back of high efficiency, good capacity utilisation and revaluation of individual projects. On the other hand, earnings in Enemærke & Petersen fell as expected. The continuing operations produced an unchanged profit after tax of DKK 71 million The loss from discontinued operations was reduced from DKK 68 million to DKK 13 million after the sale and winding up of international activities in the last year. Operating profit after tax rose from DKK 3 million to DKK 58 million. Cash flows from operating activities improved from an outflow DKK 45 million to an inflow of DKK 39 million. ORDER INTAKE AND ORDER BOOK The order intake increased for the fourth consecutive quarter after high tendering activity, which is expected to continue in the coming quarters. The order intake increased from DKK 1.3 billion to DKK 2.6 billion after increasing order intake in both business units. Construction partnerships and other collaboration projects accounted for 26% of the order intake. The order book at the end of the quarter stood at DKK 11.8 billion. In addition, the Group had orders awarded but not yet contracted to the value of DKK 0.5 billion, future projects under strategic construction partnerships with an estimated value of DKK 5.1 billion, and orders in joint ventures with a value of DKK 0.8 billion. OUTLOOK FOR 2025 The outlook for the full year is unchanged and is supported by a healthy order book, a solid pipeline and a strong exposure to the growth segments of the market. Revenue is forecast to be around DKK 10.0-10.5 billion. At the end of March, 85% of the year's expected revenue was contracted. Operating profit (EBIT) is expected to be DKK 400-450 million. Earnings from ongoing construction, refurbishment, civil engineering and service projects are expected to be largely at the same level as last year, whereas non-recurring income from sale of land in particular is expected to be significantly lower. With expectations of a significantly lower loss in discontinued operations, an unchanged tax percentage and largely unchanged financial items, there is a basis for a larger part of the operating profit for the year to feed through to the bottom line. ”We have had a good start to the year with stable operations, successful order book execution and good access to new projects. The winding-up of the last international activities is progressing, and we have taken new steps to simplify and focus the Group by integrating MT Højgaard Property Development into MT Højgaard Danmark. We continue our efforts to ensure stability and progress in the Danish business with a special focus on improving project execution and profitability in Enemærke & Petersen,” says CEO Rasmus Untidt. Contact CFO Dennis Nørgaard may be contacted on telephone +45 31 21 68 72. Dennis Nørgaard will be presenting the interim report at a conference call on 9 May 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (CEST). • "content": "( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) Q1 revenue and EBITDA are in line with our expectations. We confirm our EBITDA guidance of between DKK 530m and DKK 600m for 2025. CEO Jens Andersen says: \"All markets and main segments have rebounded, resulting in a positive organic growth of 6.5% - a significant improvement from the -15.4% in Q1 2024. This pick-up strengthened our underlying financial performance. We have initiated measures to optimise our operating model, including cost containment, process improvements and staff reductions. Consequently, costs in Q1 include restructuring costs of approx. DKK 40m, which will result in similar savings in the rest of 2025, and full-year savings of approx. DKK 60m going forward. As part of our investment in a new logistics centre in Kumla, we have chosen to fast-track the closing of our warehouse in Halmstad to optimise our costs and the customer experience during the transition. Consequently, this means DKK 12m in transition costs in Q1 2025, which were initially expected in 2026 . We continue to anticipate a recovery in 2025, although the timing and strength of this recovery have become more unpredictable. Thus, we confirm our EBITDA guidance of between DKK 530m and DKK 600m for 2025.” Financial highlights (DKK million) Q1 2025 Q1 2024 Revenue 3,223 3,030 EBITDA 74 88 Cash flow from operating activities -88 7 Financial ratios (%) Organic growth adj. for number of working days 6.5 -15.4 EBITDA margin 2.3 2.9 Net working capital, end of period/revenue (LTM) 15.0 15.1 Gearing (NIBD/EBITDA), no. of times 2.4 2.1 Return on invested capital (ROIC) 7.7 8.5 Our new Kumla logistics centre is ahead of schedule, which enables an early closing of Halmstad, resulting in DKK 12m transition costs in Q1 2025. Fast-tracking this step towards Kumla reduces risks and frees up cash by reducing net working capital. Guidance We confirm our guidance ranges of revenue between DKK 12.3bn and DKK and EBITDA between DKK 530m and DKK 600m. Key risks and mitigation The commercial and financial risks in respect of our activities are detailed in Solar's 2024 Annual Report. No additional material risks have been identified. Solar is not directly exposed to the tariffs imposed by the US or on the US market, but the resulting macroeconomic consequences may affect Solar's markets. We continue to monitor market developments closely. However, on a macroeconomic level, we continue to expect a recovery in 2025, although the timing and strength of the recovery have become more unpredictable. • "content": "( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) Growing public awareness of oral health, expanding access to dental care, and advancements in localized antimicrobial therapies are transforming the periodontal therapeutics landscape. Austin, May 09, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Periodontal Therapeutics Market Size & Trends: According to SNS Insider, the global Periodontal Therapeutics Market was valued at USD 859.13 million in 2023, is on track to reach USD 1666.11 million by 2032, expanding at a CAGR of 7.62% during the forecast period. The market's growth is rooted in increasing cases of chronic periodontal diseases, growing awareness of dental hygiene, and advancements in drug delivery technologies. As the global population ages and urbanizes, the prevalence of gingivitis and chronic periodontitis continues to climb. These gum diseases, often overlooked until late stages, require prolonged treatment and intervention, pushing demand for systemic antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and host-modulating drugs. Get a Sample Report of Periodontal Therapeutics Market@ In the U.S. alone, the market hit USD 246.62 million in 2023 and is expected to reach USD 451.30 million by 2032. High public health spending, early screening programs, and reimbursement policies have significantly contributed to early diagnosis and treatment, making the U.S. a key market driver. Market Overview A main driver of the periodontal therapies market is the growing worldwide incidence of periodontal disease, particularly in ageing populations. As more individuals suffer from chronic periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, doctors are looking more and more for efficient medication treatments that can stop the development and improve outcomes. Advances in drug delivery-including host-modulating drugs and targeted antibacterial treatments-are extending therapy options and fueling market expansion. Furthermore, especially in industrialized areas of the world, the treatment barrier has been lowered by the easier access to these drugs via retail as well as hospital pharmacies. Major component of the market in the United States, awareness campaigns and reimbursement support have resulted in higher rates of diagnosis and quick interventions. Furthermore, cooperation between research institutes and pharmaceutical companies has resulted in the creation of novel medications meant to target particular bacterial species causing gum disease. A tendency toward preventive dentistry and regular dental visits helps the market grow as well by allowing early periodontal disease diagnosis and treatment to be possible. Often underdiagnosed until late stages, chronic periodontitis has driven demand for systemic antibiotics and enzyme-suppressive drugs to reduce tissue damage and slow down disease progression. The gingivitis segment is expected to expand the most during the forecast period. Better oral care practices, more public knowledge of early-stage gum disease signs, and the growing availability of over-the-counter drugs encouraging early treatment before moving on to more advanced stages account for this expansion. Particularly, younger generations are finding this proactive approach appealing. By Drug Type: Doxycycline became the ruling drug category in 2023, holding a market share of 38.19%. It is a preferred treatment drug since it can reduce periodontal pocket depth and stop matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that break down connective tissue. Doxycycline's twin anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties have cemented its place as the accepted treatment. On the other hand, the most rapidly growing category is projected to be the class of locally administered antimicrobials. Commonly given as gels or fibers placed straight into periodontal pockets, these medications are more in demand because of their targeted action, reduced systemic adverse effects, and improved patient compliance. The growing clinical use of targeted treatment techniques and developments in biodegradable delivery technologies are driving the category. By Distribution Channel: Hospital pharmacies retained the highest position in 2023 with a share of 43.10%, mostly due to the prescription-based character of periodontal treatments and the dental professionals working on hospital grounds. The key reasons hospital pharmacies are the first point of contact remain the centralized provision of sophisticated therapies and providing all-around therapy at one location. Retail pharmacies, nonetheless, are on the move and constitute the fastest-growing channel. The channel's fast expansion is being driven by growing customer need for convenience as well as growing availability of prescription-strength medications and preventive treatments at retail environments. Further enhancing the credibility and accessibility of retail stores were the oral health counseling by chemists and collaboration with dentists offices. Leading in this area with high rates of treatment acceptance, active research programs, and continuous oral health investment is the United States. Asia-Pacific is expected to experience the fastest growth during the forecast period as a result of expanded access to healthcare, urbanization, and heightened awareness of oral health. China, India, and Japan have seen an upswing in dental consultations, driven in part by the efforts of governments and growing disposable incomes. The region's increasing middle class and evolving dental care ecosystem make it a future growth driver. Recent Developments in the Periodontal Therapeutics Market September 2024 – Haleon, in collaboration with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), introduced a new dental care pathway to incorporate screening for Type 2 diabetes as part of dental checkups, to detect more than one million undiagnosed cases using periodontal examination. February 2024 – Colgate-Palmolive introduced \"PerioGard Advanced Care\" gel for gingivitis, addressing initial gum disease with a more powerful chlorhexidine formula for greater tolerability and effectiveness. January 2024 – Sunstar Group launched a localized drug delivery system for periodontal pockets in Japan under its GUM brand, utilizing bioresorbable carriers to deliver antimicrobials directly to inflamed sites. Established with the mission to safeguard and rejuvenate Sikh heritage sites, Ranjit Nagara USA has been instrumental in advocating for the restoration of neglected Sikh historical sites in Pakistan, including Gurdwara Janam Asthan Mata Sahib Kaur Ji and Gurdwara Choha Sahib Ji. Through collaborations with Pakistan's Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC), the organization has facilitated on-ground restoration work, historical research, and community development initiatives in regions significant to Sikh history. However, the recent deterioration in diplomatic relations and the potential threat to the safety of workers, volunteers, and collaborating partners has prompted Ranjit Nagara USA to take this precautionary measure. “This is a heartbreaking but necessary decision,” said Dr. Satpreet Singh, President of Ranjit Nagara USA.“Our work has always been guided by the principle of 'service without borders,' but we must also prioritize the safety of our teams and respect the complex geopolitical realities on the ground. We remain deeply committed to the cause and will reassess our engagement when the conditions are safe and stable.” Ranjit Nagara USA has been internationally recognized for bridging religious and cultural gaps through restoration efforts that preserve Sikh heritage beyond borders. The organization has consistently advocated for peace, cross-cultural collaboration, and historical justice. The suspension of its operations in Pakistan marks a temporary halt to projects that held deep spiritual and historical significance for the global Sikh diaspora. Despite this pause in Pakistani operations, Ranjit Nagara USA will continue its work in other regions, including educational initiatives, digital archiving of Sikh manuscripts, and research-based advocacy related to South Asian religious heritage preservation. The organization remains in close contact with regional stakeholders and is monitoring the situation closely. It calls upon international peacebuilders, interfaith organizations, and heritage preservation bodies to urge both nations toward peaceful resolution and dialogue. “We call on the governments of India and Pakistan to prioritize diplomacy and dialogue,” added Dr. Singh.“The preservation of history should not be a casualty of conflict. Until conditions improve, our prayers and hopes remain with the people of the region.” About Ranjit Nagara USA Ranjit Nagara USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Manteca, CA, committed to the restoration of historic Sikh Gurdwaras and promotion of cultural literacy through research, documentation, and humanitarian engagement. The organization operates through partnerships with local and international bodies to protect endangered religious heritage.

      • "content": "( MENAFN - PR Newswire) OSLO, Norway, May 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Reference is made to the announcements today by Aker Horizons ASA (\" AKH \") and Aker Carbon Capture ASA (\" ACC \") regarding respective transactions involving Aker entities. The independent transactions are the outcome of a comprehensive strategic review of alternatives for a refinancing of Aker Horizons. The proposed totality will also simplify and consolidate Aker ASA's (\" Aker \") ownership. Full announcements, including transaction details, are available at and . In summary, the main elements are: Aker Horizons : Aker Horizons Holding to merge with a subsidiary of Aker ASA against a merger consideration, whereby AKH shareholders (other than Aker Capital, an Aker ASA subsidiary) will receive 0.001898 shares in Aker ASA and NOK 0.267963 in cash for each share owned in AKH (subject to rounding). The exchange rate is based on the 30-day volume-weighted average share price for each company. Aker Horizons Holding encompasses all business activities of the Aker Horizons group, including its shareholding in Aker Carbon Capture ASA (ACC), investment in Mainstream Renewable Power, and the Narvik properties. Aker ASA will settle the consideration shares in the merger with treasury shares or issue new shares pursuant to current board authorizations. AKH's NOK 2.5 billion green bond will be redeemed before the original maturity date of August 15, 2025, using existing cash reserves, thereby reducing cash interest costs that would have accrued until the bond's maturity. Bondholders in the NOK 1.6 billion convertible bond will be offered redemption at 93% of par value. Aker Capital will remain with NOK 1.3 billion of this debt. The debtor position of other loans in AKH will be moved to Aker Horizons Holding and continued. Aker Carbon Capture : A subsidiary of Aker Capital will acquire the 20% ownership interest in SLB Capturi AS for a cash consideration of NOK 635 million and undertake guarantee commitments to cover ACC's parent company guarantees and liabilities towards SLB in relation to the partnership. These agreements will increase the distributable reserves in ACC, ensuring a significant liquidity event for ACC shareholders. Following completion of the sale of the ownership interest in SLB Capturi, the ACC Board of Directors will propose that shareholders approve a dividend payment of approximately NOK 1.7 billion. Final approval of certain transaction matters is subject to the approval of extraordinary general meetings in both AKH and ACC. The boards of all involved companies believe that the mergers and transactions described in the announcements are in the best commercial interests of the respective companies and their shareholders and have deemed it advisable to complete the transactions as announced. • "content": "( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) COPENHAGEN, Denmark , May 9, 2025 – Bavarian Nordic A/S (OMX: BAVA) announced today its interim financial results and business progress for the first three months of 2025. Revenue for the first three months increased by 62% to DKK 1,347 million, reflecting a strong performance in both Travel Health and Public Preparedness. Travel Health revenue increased by 52% to DKK 680 million compared to the first quarter of 2024, primarily driven by increased demand for rabies and tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) vaccines. Public Preparedness revenue increased by 83% to DKK 629 million compared to the first quarter of 2024. This exceeded initial expectations due to successful efforts to advance the deliveries of a few, but larger, existing orders into the first quarter. Other revenue was DKK 37 million. The operating profit (EBITDA) was DKK 420 million, corresponding to an EBITDA margin of 31%. Financial guidance for the full year is maintained at a revenue of DKK 5,700-6,700 million and an EBITDA margin of 26-30%. DKK million 3m 2025 3m 2024 2025 Guidance Revenue 1,347 831 5,700 – 6,700 EBITDA margin 31% 3% 26-30% Paul Chaplin, President & Chief Executive Officer of Bavarian Nordic said:“A very strong first quarter for our Travel Health business, demonstrating a 52% growth year-over-year and puts us ahead of our strategic goal of an average annual growth rate of 10-12% for this part of the business until 2027. We also recorded our first US sales of the chikungunya vaccine after its approval in February and ahead of the April recommendation from ACIP. Our phased launch plan for the vaccine is progressing as planned with the first European markets coming online over the next couple of months while we also continue our efforts to expand the regulatory approvals to other territories. Chikungunya represents an increasing public health threat across the globe, and we are proud to have entered our first partnership to improve access to the vaccine for low- and middle-income countries. In Public Preparedness, we also delivered above expectations. While this was largely due to a number of deliveries occurring ahead of plans, it goes to show the strength and scale of our manufacturing setup to meet the increased demand for our mpox/smallpox vaccine.” Highlights from the first quarter Travel Health Vimkunya was approved in the US and EU in February as the first virus-like particle (VLP)-based chikungunya vaccine and the first chikungunya vaccine for persons aged 12 years and older. Additionally, regulatory submissions were filed in the UK and Canada. Vimkunya was launched commercially in the US in March and will be launched in the first European markets later during the first half of 2025. Concurrently with the US approval of Vimkunya, Bavarian Nordic was granted a Priority Review Voucher, which the Company intends to monetize when appropriate. A strategic partnership was entered with Biological E. Limited in February, initially comprising a contract manufacturing agreement with the aim to provide capacity for the future supply of chikungunya vaccines to endemic low- and middle-income countries. Public Preparedness The freeze-dried version of JYNNEOS was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in March for prevention of smallpox and mpox disease in adults 18 years of age and older. The approval supports the ongoing contract with the US government for stockpiling of the vaccine. Other business In January, Bavarian Nordic launched and completed a share buy-back program of DKK 150 million, with the purpose of adjusting the capital structure. Events after the reporting date In April, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to recommend VimkunyaTM for the prevention of disease caused by chikungunya virus for US persons aged 12 and older traveling to regions with an outbreak or elevated risk of chikungunya, as well as for laboratory workers with potential for exposure to chikungunya virus. In May, the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency granted marketing authorization in the United Kingdom for Vimkunya ® for active immunization for the prevention of disease caused by chikungunya virus in individuals 12 years and older. In May, the US government exercised additional options valued at USD 143.6 million under the existing contract to supply a freeze-dried formulation of JYNNEOS ® smallpox vaccine, with planned delivery in 2026. Conference call and webcast The management of Bavarian Nordic will host an investor/analyst call today at 2 pm CEST (8 am EDT) to present the interim results followed by a Q&A session. We executed on our ongoing investments across production sites and announced the completion of the medium-voltage capacity expansions in Falun and Velke Mezirici. Additionally, in April we concluded Q1 negotiations and signed a supply agreement with Hydro, strengthening our European value chain and ensuring security of aluminium supply until 2033. These steps underscore our commitment to business excellence and our strategic focus on supporting the energy transition and enhancing value for both our customers and shareholders. Revenues (in std. metal prices) is expected to be approximately EUR 2.37-2.52bn and operational EBITDA is expected to be approx. EUR 330-380m. The financial outlook is based on several assumptions, including: Satisfactory execution of high-voltage investments and projects to deliver on expected profitability margins Satisfactory operational execution across business lines Stable market conditions for Applications and Service & Accessories Normalised offshore power cable repair work activity Stable supply chain with limited disruptions and access to the required labour, materials, and services Stable development in the global economy, foreign currency, and metal prices 11% organic growth and operational EBITDA of EUR 81m In Q1 2025, NKT's revenue (in std. metal prices) amounted to EUR 630m, an increase of EUR 96m compared to Q1 2024, corresponding to 11% organic growth. In Solutions, the growth was driven by high activity level and overall satisfactory project execution, while the increased revenue in Applications was mainly due to the acquisition of SolidAl in June 2024, and organic growth driven by additional medium-voltage production capacity. In Service & Accessories, revenue was below the level of Q1 2024, which included a large scope of offshore repair work on a legacy service agreement. Operational EBITDA increased to EUR 81m in Q1 2025 from EUR 75m in Q1 2024. The increase was driven by higher revenue. The operational EBITDA margin was 12.9% in Q1 2025, representing a decrease of 1.2 %-points compared to Q1 2024. All three business lines contributed to the increased operational EBITDA, while the decline in operational EBITDA-margin was mainly due to natural fluctuations in the project business. At end-Q1 2025, the high-voltage order backlog was EUR (EUR 9.4bn in std. metal prices) compared to EUR (EUR 9.3bn in std. metal prices) at end-Q4 2024. During the quarter, NKT supplemented its high-voltage order backlog with a number of relatively smaller orders, including variation orders to existing projects. Free cash flow amounted to EUR -308m in Q1 2025 driven by the ongoing investments and a negative contribution from changes in working capital due to the phasing between milestone payments and project execution in Solutions. At end-Q1 2025, NKT maintained a robust balance sheet, with net interest-bearing debt of EUR -953m. Execution of the high-voltage investment programme progressed as planned during Q1 2025. At the expansion of the site in Karlskrona, Sweden, several work streams were in intense execution phases and, among others, NKT progressed with work inside the new extrusion tower, construction of surrounding production buildings and installation of machinery. The new production capacity and the new cable-laying vessel, NKT Eleonora, are expected to be operational from 2027. Segment key financial highlights Q1 2025 Revenue* Operational EBITDA Op. • "content": "( MENAFN - PR Newswire) FORNEBU, Norway, May 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Aker ASA ( Aker ) and Aker Horizons ASA ( Aker Horizons or AKH ) today announce a merger (the Merger ) whereby AKH's subsidiary, Aker Horizons Holding AS ( AKH Holding ), will merge with a subsidiary of Aker ASA ( AKH MergerCo ) against consideration in the form of shares in Aker ASA and cash to all shareholders in Aker Horizons (other than Aker Capital). Specifically, shareholders will receive 0.001898 shares in Aker ASA (subject to rounding as described below) and NOK 0.267963 in cash for each share owned in AKH. The exchange ratio is based on the 30-day volume weighted average share price for each of Aker and AKH. The Merger is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2025. AKH Holding encompasses all business activities of the Aker Horizons group, including its shareholding in Aker Carbon Capture ASA ( ACC ), investment in Mainstream Renewable Power, and the Narvik properties. As described in a stock exchange notice from ACC today, ACC has entered into an agreement to sell its ownership interest in SLB Capturi AS to Aker, followed by a proposed dividend payment to ACC shareholders and liquidation of ACC. To enable shareholders in AKH to benefit directly from the merger consideration, the shares in AKH Holding will be distributed as a dividend in kind to AKH shareholders immediately prior to completion of the Merger. Upon completion of the Merger, AKH shareholders who received AKH Holding shares as dividend in kind will receive the merger consideration in exchange for their shareholding in AKH Holding. The distribution of dividend in kind in the form of shares in AKH Holding is subject to approval by the shareholders of AKH. An extraordinary general meeting to consider this is expected to be called for the first part of June 2025. AKH has also resolved to redeem 100% of the Aker Horizons AS FRN Senior Unsecured NOK 2,500,000,000 Green Bond 2021/2025 (ISIN NO0010923220) (the Green Bond ) at a call price of 100.37 percent of par, plus accrued unpaid interest. AKH will utilize existing cash reserves for the redemption, which is expected to be completed by the end of May 2025. The early redemption will reduce cash interest costs for AKH that would otherwise accrue until the maturity of the Green Bond on August 15, 2025. The redemption is not conditional upon completion of the Merger. As part of the overall transaction relating to the Merger: AKH will offer to repurchase the outstanding bonds under AKH's NOK 1.6 billion Convertible Bond due 2026 (the Convertible Bond ) at a cash price of 93% of par. Repurchased bonds will subsequently be cancelled. AKH will fund such redemption by drawing on a receivable against AKH Holding that will be established as part of the Merger, whereby the economic liability to repay the Convertible Bond is assumed by AKH Holding. Aker Capital, which holds Convertible Bonds equalling NOK 1.3 billion par value, has undertaken not to accept the redemption offer. AKH Holding will upon completion of the Merger assume the debtor position under AKH's NOK 2.6 bn (including accrued interest) shareholder loan from Aker Capital. AKH will propose to DNB Bank ASA that the guarantee provided by AKH in relation to the Mainstream Renewable Power DNB facility shall be transferred to AKH MergerCo. Such transfers will be conditional upon completion of the Merger. The new shareholder loan from AKH to Mainstream Renewable Power issued in April 2025 and the new shareholder loan commitment will also be transferred to AKH MergerCo. The transaction is the result of a strategic review process by the Board of Directors of Aker Horizons (the Board ), who has concluded that it represents the most attractive alternative for Aker Horizons and its shareholders. There is significant market uncertainty and substantial funding requirements needed to realize the value creation potential in Aker Horizons' portfolio of assets, which makes it challenging for Aker Horizons as a stand-alone listed company to raise financing without diluting existing shareholders. Additionally, Aker Horizons has significant debt that will mature during the next 12 months. The Board believes that the Merger and other transactions described herein are in the best commercial interests of AKH, its shareholders, business partners and other stakeholders. Consequently, the Board has deemed it advisable and in the best interests of AKH and its shareholders to complete the transactions. Following the completion of the Merger, Aker will continue to realize the value of AKH Holdings' existing investments. Mainstream's activities have been scaled down and the company is focusing on a few key areas, including South Africa and Australia. Overall, going forward the task is to manage risks and opportunities in the portfolio, including in Chile and within offshore wind. In Narvik, the emphasis will be on developing the data center business opportunity. Øyvind Eriksen, President and CEO, Aker ASA, comments: \"This merger follows a prolonged period of financial uncertainty for Aker Horizons. Despite significant losses for Aker and fellow shareholders in Aker Horizons, our perspective remains long-term. We believe in the underlying industrial potential and are taking steps to protect and rebuild shareholder value through more focused capital deployment and a clearer strategic direction. We will continue to develop the existing assets, including core projects in Mainstream and the ownership in SLB Capturi, as well as the possible data center development in Narvik, which will require Aker's full weight of industrial expertise and financial capacity.\" Lone Fønss Schrøder, Independent Director of Aker Horizons, comments: \"This transaction serves the long-term interests of all stakeholders. It reflects the need to adapt to a materially changed market environment, where the sharp downturn in green energy and industrial markets has made capital raising and large-scale execution significantly more challenging. We have already adjusted our strategy - and now also our structure.\" Kristian Røkke, Chairman of Aker Horizons, comments: \"Aker Horizons was founded with a clear vision: to accelerate the transition to Net Zero by applying the Aker group's industrial, technological, and capital markets expertise to drive global decarbonization through renewable energy, carbon capture, and sustainable industry. The portfolio, built in a different market environment, retains potential with several promising initiatives. Notably, the powered land sites in Narvik, originally part of our green industry strategy, have evolved into an AI Factory initiative. The surging demand for AI infrastructure offers significant value creation opportunities. Today's market conditions do not support large-scale green investments to the extent they once did, and realizing this potential requires capital and scale beyond Aker Horizons' standalone capacity.\" The Board will work on defining AKH's future strategy and structure following completion of the Merger and will revert with an update once the Board has concluded in this respect. Key Terms of the Merger Aker Horizons' wholly owned subsidiary, AKH Holding, will merge with an indirect subsidiary of Aker ASA ( AKH MergerCo) , with AKH MergerCo as the surviving entity. Shareholders in Aker Horizons (other than Aker Capital) will upon completion of the Merger receive merger consideration in the form of NOK 0.267963 in cash and 0.001898 shares in Aker ASA for each share owned in Aker Horizons. The exchange ratio is based on the 30-day volume weighted average share price for each of Aker and AKH. Aker ASA will settle the consideration shares in the Merger with treasury shares held and/or acquired and/or issue of new shares pursuant to authorizations granted to the board of directors of Aker ASA. Fractions of Aker ASA consideration shares will not be allotted in the Merger. For each shareholder the number of Aker ASA shares will be rounded down to each whole number, or to zero shares. Excess shares, which because of this round down will not be allotted to eligible shareholders, will be issued to and sold by DNB Bank ASA according to instructions from Aker ASA at the expense and risk of the beneficiaries with a proportionate distribution of net sales proceeds among the shareholders who have the number of consideration shares rounded off. Since the Merger is between AKH Holding and AKH MergerCo, shareholders in AKH will retain their shares in AKH following completion of the Merger. Completion of the Merger is subject to (i) completion of the distribution of dividend in kind in the form of shares in AKH Holding, (ii) all third-party notifications and consents having been delivered and obtained, including consent from DNB Bank ASA in relation to transfer of the support arrangements relating to Mainstream Renewables described above, and (iii) other customary closing conditions. Subject to fulfilment of these conditions, the Merger is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2025. Advisors Arctic Securities AS has acted as financial adviser to Aker and DNB Markets has acted as financial adviser to Aker Horizons in connection with the Merger. Advokatfirmaet BAHR AS has acted as legal counsel to Aker and Advokatfirmaet Haavind AS has acted as legal counsel to Aker Horizons. Aker's Annual General Meeting has approved a dividend of NOK 26.50 per share to be paid in May 2025. \"While our Q1 results reflect a strong start to the year, the world has shifted significantly since the quarter closed. The emergence of a global trade conflict has introduced new uncertainty into the global economy, with implications that continue to evolve. In parallel, we have announced important portfolio actions designed to address specific challenges and enhance our long-term positioning. Against this backdrop, our quarterly performance may feel like a snapshot from a different time. However, it is precisely during times of volatility that Aker's strengths come to bear and enable us to continue to deliver value and capitalize on emerging opportunities,\" said Øyvind Eriksen, President and CEO of Aker ASA. \"Partnerships remain key. Collaborations with companies like SLB and other global players help us unlock new opportunities. These partnerships are built on trust in Aker's ability to combine industrial expertise with financial strength. By taking decisive action in Aker Horizons, as announced this morning, we are committing Aker's full resources to support existing collaborations and pursue future opportunities - reducing uncertainty and creating a stronger foundation for long-term value creation.\" At the time of results publication, Aker also announced transactions with Aker Horizons and Aker Carbon Capture, respectively. • "content": "( MENAFN - GlobeNewsWire - Nasdaq) Camfil USA highlights strategic air filter procurement, emphasizing total cost of ownership, performance-based evaluations, and educational resources during Air Quality Week. Riverdale, NJ, May 09, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Concluding Air Quality Week, Camfil USA is addressing one of the most challenging aspects of air quality management: the strategic procurement of appropriate filtration systems. Despite their critical role in maintaining healthy indoor environments, air filters remain poorly understood by many procurement professionals who struggle to identify optimal solutions for their specific needs. \"Air filters may appear straightforward, but they're highly technical products requiring specialized knowledge to select effectively,\" explains Mark Davidson, Manager of Marketing and Technical Materialsr at Camfil USA. \"Too often, organizations default to simple price comparisons rather than evaluating the performance characteristics that determine a filter's true value and total cost of ownership.\" Beyond Price: The Total Cost of Ownership Framework Traditional procurement approaches that focus primarily on unit price fail to capture the comprehensive economic impact of air filtration choices. A more sophisticated evaluation requires considering several interconnected factors: Energy consumption – Air filters create resistance in HVAC systems, requiring energy to overcome. Higher-efficiency filters with properly engineered media can actually reduce overall energy usage despite potentially higher initial costs. Service life – Extended operational lifespans reduce changeout frequency, minimizing labor costs and disposal expenses while decreasing facility disruption. Indoor air quality impact – Superior filtration removes a broader spectrum of contaminants, potentially reducing healthcare utilization, absenteeism, and productivity losses associated with poor indoor air. HVAC system protection – Quality filtration prevents contaminant buildup on sensitive cooling coils and other components, extending equipment life and reducing maintenance requirements. \"When procurement teams apply comprehensive cost analysis rather than focusing solely on purchase price, the economics frequently favor higher-performance solutions,\" notes Davidson. \"What appears 'expensive' initially often delivers substantial savings over the operational lifecycle.\" Overcoming Common Procurement Challenges Organizations seeking to optimize air filter procurement often encounter several obstacles that require systematic approaches to overcome: Knowledge gaps across departments, with facility managers, procurement specialists, and financial decision-makers operating from different information bases Inadequate specifications in RFQs that fail to properly define performance requirements create opportunities for substitution with inferior products Difficulty comparing competing claims from manufacturers using different testing methodologies or emphasizing selective performance metrics Limited understanding of application-specific requirements that vary significantly across different building types, HVAC configurations, and occupancy patterns Addressing these challenges requires cross-functional collaboration between procurement teams, facility management, and air quality specialists who can provide technical expertise throughout the decision-making process. Building an Effective Procurement Strategy Based on extensive experience working with organizations across multiple sectors, Camfil's air quality experts recommend a structured approach to filter procurement: Conduct comprehensive site evaluations to understand specific filtration needs across different areas of facilities, recognizing that a one-size-fits-all approach rarely delivers optimal results Analyze current filtration performance through filter loading studies, particulate monitoring, and energy consumption analysis Calculate complete lifecycle costs incorporating purchase price, energy impact, labor requirements, disposal costs, and replacement frequency Develop detailed specifications that precisely define performance requirements rather than generic filter descriptions Implement pilot programs when transitioning to new filtration strategies to validate performance claims in real-world conditions \"The most successful procurement programs correctly treat air filters as engineered products that directly impact both operating costs and indoor environmental quality,\" explains Davidson. \"This perspective transforms filtration from a routine purchase into a strategic investment.\" Educational Resources Available As part of Air Quality Week, Camfil USA has released comprehensive procurement guidance materials including: Framework for calculating the total cost of ownership for filtration systems Guidelines for developing performance-based RFQ specifications Case studies demonstrating successful procurement optimization An educational video series featuring expert insights on air filter selection These resources aim to empower procurement professionals with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions that optimize both air quality and financial outcomes. Air Quality Week: A Reflection on Our Clean Air Journey As we conclude Air Quality Week 2025, we reflect on the critical themes we've explored: the impact of wildfire smoke on indoor environments, the relationship between air quality and respiratory health, the complex science of indoor air quality, the interconnections between air quality and broader ecosystems, and finally, the strategic procurement of effective filtration solutions. Throughout this week, we've emphasized that clean air is not merely a comfort but a fundamental element of public health, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. Camfil USA remains committed to advancing both the science and practical applications of air filtration to create healthier indoor environments for all. • "content": "( MENAFN - EIN Presswire) Advanced AI-Powered Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair Advanced AI-Powered Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair CALIFORNIA, CA, UNITED STATES, May 9, 2025 /EINPresswire / -- America's cars are fast becoming rolling computers. A modern sedan may house more than 100 electronic control units and millions of lines of code-yet roadside assistance still looks a lot like it did in the 1990s: a phone call, a tow truck, and a long wait at a repair bay. Ride N Repair, the India-born service that already delivers fully automated, real-time dispatch for mechanical breakdowns, believes the moment is ripe for something bolder. A platform forged in India's traffic crucible Over the past two years CEO / CTO Lakshya Khurana-an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and former Carnegie Mellon University Robotics Institute intern-and COO / CMO Shubham Tyagi have scaled Ride N Repair across 27 Indian cities. Their cloud software matches stranded motorists to the nearest qualified mechanic in milliseconds, routes that technician through live traffic, and tracks arrival in-app. The result: more than 50,000 successful rescues and an average curb-side arrival of under 30 minutes, often under 15. Everything from location pinning to payment happens without a single phone call-a level of end-to-end automation no legacy services can claim. The next leap: deep, vehicle-side AI While today's system already uses machine-learning forecasts to stock mechanics with the parts most likely to fail by region, the U.S. rollout is designed to go further. The company's R&D team is building a secure, opt-in module that will read live vehicle telematics or dashboard error codes, cross-reference them with Ride N Repair's growing fault library, and brief the mechanic before wheels start turning. That means a future customer who sees an unfamiliar lane-assist or battery-health warning light could tap once in the app and receive a technician who already knows the probable cause and carries the right sensor, cable, or software patch. “Indian roads taught us speed; the United States will let us show how intelligent that speed can become,” -Lakshya Khurana, CEO/CTO Serving thousands of drivers every month-then millions Ride N Repair currently handles several thousand breakdowns monthly in India, from overheated engines to dead batteries. Each call feeds anonymized data into the company's analytics engine, sharpening failure-rate predictions by make, model, weather, and mileage. That same data-first philosophy underpins the U.S. vision: partner with national parts distributors, dealer groups, and independent garages so mechanics arrive stocked for the top faults in any given ZIP code. Why U.S. highways need a smarter safety net Industry and government studies blame a sizable share of secondary collisions on disabled vehicles lingering in travel lanes. Shortening the wait from an hour to fifteen minutes isn't just convenient-it reduces crash risk, insurance payouts, and stop-and-go congestion that wastes fuel. Add real-time diagnostics, and the gains compound: cars that once required towing could be restarted or stabilized roadside, freeing patrol officers and tow fleets for truly severe incidents. Human expertise, turbo-charged Khurana and Tyagi insist that AI will augment, not replace, the people who turn wrenches. Every U.S. technician joining the network will receive standardized training in digital workflow and customer communication. Feedback loops already used in India will flag miscues for instant coaching, keeping service quality uniform even as call volumes scale. Building the ecosystem Drivers get rapid relief and transparent pricing. Mechanics gain steady, well-documented job leads and faster parts access. Insurers stand to see fewer secondary crashes and lower claim costs. Automakers & dealers can receive anonymized trend data that speeds recalls or design fixes.* A roadmap, not vaporware The company's AI-dispatch core is live today; the deeper telematics layer will debut in U.S. pilot markets, where Ride N Repair is already in talks with parts wholesalers, EV specialists, and municipal fleet managers. Early focus will be on metro areas that blend heavy traffic with tech-minded consumers-think Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix-before expanding nationwide. Meet the founders Lakshya Khurana – Software architect turned mobility visionary; built the platform's real-time routing and prediction engine. Shubham Tyagi – Operations strategist; forged India's 4,000-plus-mechanic network and is now courting U.S. trade schools and certification bodies. Connect with them on LinkedIn Lakshya-Khurana and Shubham-Tyagi What's next Ride N Repair will publish launch-city details, mechanic-partner applications, and beta-tester sign-ups at Ride N Repair in the coming months. If the company's Indian record is any guide, America's“computer on wheels” era is about to meet a roadside service as smart as the vehicles it rescues-turning cryptic dashboard alerts and dreaded breakdowns into quick, data-driven pit stops. • "content": "( MENAFN - EIN Presswire) The Expert Visual Designer Xiyu Deng CHELSEA, MANHATTAN, NY, UNITED STATES, May 9, 2025 /EINPresswire / -- This week, New York Art Life Magazine presents an in-depth conversation with accomplished visual designer Xiyu Deng. This comprehensive interview delves into her creative process, innovative design philosophy, and remarkable journey through the dynamic world of visual design. With design in this age as much of a lifeline and war zone for cultural value as it has ever been, Xiyu Deng is front-and-center leading the visual narrative movement, rendering pixels into rich, human emotion. A Senior Designer at Instrument, TDC Certificate of Typographic Excellence award-winner and Graphis Silver Award winner, Deng's work isn't simply aesthetic, fusing strategic restraint with emotional complexity. From conceptualizing gig worker narratives for Uber to creating Apple TV's effective Earth Day commercials, Deng illustrates that design isn't an instrument-it's an empathy of a language, of a rebellion, and of collective memory. New York Art Life delves into the maker mind that transforms data into feelings, brands into pals, and noise into art. Deng's portfolio is a manifesto of today's design. Her Uber Earners Opportunities campaign reframed gig work as a story of autonomy, combining dynamic imagery with interactive narrative. \"Aligning Uber's brand vision with earners' needs required a philosophy of flexibility,\" she says. The campaign's two-screen imagery-a driver's worklife on one side, a personal moment such as teaching a kid's soccer game on the other-graphically highlighted the balance promise. \"Each piece, from gradient palettes to progress wheels, was designed to evoke transitions between work and life,\" she goes on. The result? A campaign that allowed earners to reframe success \"on their terms.\" For Apple TV Women's History Month and Earth Day campaigns, Deng blended archival textures with data-inspired artistry. \"Inclusivity isn't just representation-it's building spaces where viewers see their stories within a communal fabric,\" she asserts. Women's History Month collages stacked directors' faces over protest signs and lines from scripts, but Earth Day's thermographic slopes and glacial noise transformed planetary exposure into an interactive experience. \"We rendered broken earth and swirling seeds as visual metaphors,\" Deng says, \"so the audience didn't merely look at the planet's beat-tried to feel it.\" Deng's brilliance is taking abstract ideas and rendering them in visceral terms. In developing Greenhouse's recruiter-focused brand platform, she grounded the campaign in human narrative. \"We started with language from the recruiters themselves-'I hire to develop' or 'make others feel valued'-and built imagery around their grit,\" she explains. Marvin's story blossomed with cracked earth textures becoming lush vines, and Shirim's dream of being seen emerged from handwritten overlays. The \"Why Builder\" gadget-a word-mosaic dragged together with such terms as \"legacy\" and \"innovation\"-turned purpose into play. \"'One hiring manager said the imagery made their 'why' feel like a roadmap, not a mantra,'\" Deng recalls. Her software for Giant Steps' game-based learning system made math practice problems collaborative missions. Teachers reported that students formed \"learning clans\" to vanquish challenges, and neurodiverse students thrived under the certainty of the color-coded system. \"The mantra 'Turning practice into play' became a lived truth,\" Deng remembers. \"Teachers even used the system for peer mentoring. It reminded me learning is not just personal.\" During Hong Kong's 2019 politics upheaval, Deng evoked fear and resistance for her 50 Cantopop Album Covers. For No Tomorrow by C AllStar, she defined existential terror through a burning red gradient covering 80% of the cover. \"The gradient's gentleness echoed the uncertainty-how a single arrest or protest would reshape the city's course,\" she explains. A severe black line cutting the cover represented her own fractured self-portrait: \"I was walking against currents of anxiety, and I wanted the art to challenge that rawness.\" The covers became covert histories of a silenced city. \"Cantopop's imagery became a vocabulary for what couldn't be said,\" she remembers. SurveyMonkey's 25th Anniversary Campaign put Deng's skills at harmonizing heritage and irreverence to work. Preserving the vintage red logo, she overlayed it with memeable data art, including Beyoncé donning a cowboy hat overlaid onto sparkling analytics. \"Heritage isn't repetition-it's fueling debates a brand never even knew it could host,\" she asserts. The campaign's AR filters, including \"aging\" selfies on antique tech glitches, paid tribute to nostalgia while fostering boldness. At TutorMe, Deng's student-centric interface optimized modular flexibility. Dynamic progress tracking and customizable avatars turned learning into a shared experience. \"When learning is personal, community grows organically,\" she quotes a student who bonded with others over a \"Science Explorer\" badge. Deng's recognition reaffirms technical brilliance, yet her approach to mentoring points toward her lasting achievement. \"I challenge young designers to have a dialectic relationship between discipline and rebellion,\" she suggests. \"Learn fundamentals like a scientist, then rebel like an artist.\" At Instrument, she nurtures environments where \"risk breeds innovation,\" and inquiries from junior designers fuel breakthroughs. As automation and gig economies remake the world, Deng's work poses urgent questions: Can a typeface make the unheard heard? Can a color palette bridge corporate and human dignity? \"Design isn't a vocation-it's a script for how we see, feel, and connect,\" she asserts. Her campaigns, from Uber's earners to Hong Kong's undercover covers, are not merely deliverables. They're living systems in which typography bellows resilience, gradients chart emotion, and each pixel pulses with possibility. Xiyu Deng doesn't simply create graphics. She designs compassion, a gradient at a time. New York Art Life Magazine, based in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan, is dedicated to celebrating innovators and visionaries in the art world.
No tienen vergüenza”.

Financial highlights: Strong multi-client performance driven by high interest for data in frontier areas Multi-client investment of USD 130 million supported by solid pre-commitments from clients Significant year-over-year improvement in asset utilization secured solid contract revenues Order inflow of USD 302 million during Q1 2025 – total order backlog of USD 600 million Strong cash flow reducing net debt to USD 453 million from USD 500 million at the end of 2024 Solid balance sheet allows for stable dividend payment of USD 0.155 per share to be paid in Q2 2025 Guidance for gross operating expenses and capital expenditures lowered to approximately USD 1,000 million and approximately USD 135 million, respectively, in response to increased macro uncertainty “We are pleased about the strong financial performance in Q1 2025. The multi-client segment significantly exceeded expectations, primarily as a result of strong sales of vintage library data in frontier areas. A sales-to-investment ratio above 2x (pro-forma) over the past four quarters illustrates the attractiveness of the multi-client model and the benefit of having the world's largest and most diversified data library. We are also pleased about the contract performance in the quarter, with significant year-on-year improvement of asset utilization. Although the recent oil price weakness adds uncertainty in the short term, the long-term outlook remains positive. At current spending levels most E&P companies struggle to replace reserves, and more exploration is needed to maintain production,” says Kristian Johansen, CEO of TGS.
